My favorite bike mechanics are Max and Allen at REI on I-85 access road. Can't say how good they are with SRAM, but they've done real well with Campy and Shimano.

What is wrong with the tuning? I never had issues with Rival that I couldn't fix.

Try Nate at Outback bikes.

I'll bet the problem is that it came with Gore cables. The 'open' Gore cables are a disaster waiting to happen. The Teflon ('goretex') coating gets eroded off the inner cables, accumulating inside the outer, gumming up the previously free-moving cable assembly. Cue endless adjusting and tuning.

So, if you have Gore cables, replace them.

FYI: Nate in Outback knows all about this problem.

Howard at Freeflite is one of the best in town. I have personally seen this guy figure stuff out that other bike shops couldn't (from bike owner's mouth).

if you are further north, go to Cody at Addictive Cycles. He was the only mechanic to be personally requested by pro teams for Tour de GA.
