Not complete, but lots of good riding. Future extension to Conyers I believe is planned. Current map and info: http://pathfoundation.org/index.cfm?event=showArabia

From the City of Lithonia to the Alexander Park Trailhead at Panola is approx 11 miles. Rockdale County has acquired the land off of Hwy 138, near Hwy 155 for a new trailhead called the Lorraine Park trailhead. (This is where the old junkyard used to be. The junkyard has been cleared and progress has been made on improvement of this land.) The PATH has not been connected to the Lorraine trailhead yet, but last I heard, the land had been acquired and money had been set aside for this project. Eventually, the PATH will connect to the monestary in Conyers. But the completion of that is still years away.

the bike trails at Panola park are old golf course cart paths. They are a blast to ride. There are signs and signage, but the trails are somewhat covered. It is easy to get lost. (good thing?)

I spoke to a State Park ranger at the Panola Mtn State Park - Alexander Lake Trailhead a week or so ago. A brand new section of the path is almost complete. The section begins about 3/4 mile from the Alexander Lake Trailhead path and ends at the new Panola Road/Hwy 155 Trailhead. All of this new section has been paved, but it will not open until a bridge is built over one of the streams. That should be done soon. The ranger did not know the length of this new section, but I would estimate it to be 3-4 miles. The Panola Road/Hwy 155 trail section is complete and open all the way to MLK High School. Plans are underway to connect MLK HS trail to somewhere in Ellenwood.
